Tube Tutorials
The London subway, or tube allows you to access almost all of London without a car or cab (although I highly recommend taking a London cab at least once in your life.) Here are a couple of tutorials on how to navigate the bustling tube stations with ease.

Here are my tips: If you're going to be in London more than 1 day I highly suggest investing in an oyster card. You can easily add money to it and all you have to do is scan it at the entrance to the tube or on a bus and you're good to go. Keep it! Hold on to the oyster card for any future trips to London. Carry a tube map with you at all times so you can plan your route before you get in the station. This prevents typical newbie errors such as taking the wrong direction. Try to avoid traveling during peak hours. If at all possible avoid traveling at the times people travel to and from work. Most of the time the tube cars are fairly empty so you have your choice of seats. Being squashed into a car is not fun. Trust me. Oh, and mind the gap.
